Wayne Residents Enjoy Polar Vortex

Despite the many downsides to polar vortex some Wayne, NJ residents took advantage of the recent sub-freezing temperatures on a frozen Packanack Lake. Some came to play friendly hockey games, some pulled their children across the smooth surface while still others, your truly included prefer to enjoy the simple solitude of a solo skate. This weeks sub freezing temps have created a solid skating area. Saturday February 2, 2109 The ice should be short lived as tomorrows high will be in mid 40's and up to 60 by Tuesday.
